Our beliefs

We believe the Bible calls all mankind to BE A DISCIPLE and to MAKE DISCIPLES. This is done through our mission path: CELEBRATING IN WORSHIP - CONNECTING IN RELATIONSHIP - CONTRIBUTING WITH OUR GIFTS & TALENTS.

  • The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s Word to us and that it is inspired and alive. The Bible is without error and is the sole authority for salvation and Christian living. It is compared to bread in multiple passages and is necessary to our daily lives. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25)

  • God

There is one God who has revealed Himself as the Father in creation, Jesus Christ the Son of God in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit in regeneration. Jesus Christ was God manifested in the flesh and he was both God and man. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16)

  • The Gospel

It is the good news of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. We obey the gospel through repentance, water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ, and receiving the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:4, 37-39; Acts 10:43-48; Acts 19:1-6; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

  • Christian Living

We are here to love God and others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, displaying the fruits of the Spirit, and worship God joyfully. (Mark 12:28-31; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10; 2 Corinthians 7:1)

  • the future

Jesus Christ will return for His church, and there will be final resurrection and judgement. The righteous will inherit eternal life, but the unrighteous will inherit eternal death. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15)
