Guest FAQs | Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

Our congregation is diverse. Our pastors dress conservatively, but you will see people in our pews dressed in all styles—from jeans to business suits. Many people are not sure what to wear when they visit. We want you to be comfortable, so dress as you feel appropriate.

Where should I park?

Reserved Guest Parking is available in front of the main entrance on the west side of the building. Parking for special-needs individuals is also designated near all entrances.

What happens when I arrive?

A host or hostess will warmly greet you upon your arrival. If it's your first visit to Emmanuel, you will be asked to fill out a Connection Card so that we have record of your attendance. We are glad you have chosen to visit us, and our pastor would like to personally thank you for attending Emmanuel.

How do I find my way around?

A Welcome Center is located in the main foyer, and friendly greeters are available to help you choose classes that are right for each member of your family. The Welcome Center is staffed before, between, and after services.

Is there a nursery available?

A fully-staffed nursery is available during our services for children up to twenty-four months old. Older children may attend age-appropriate Sunday School classes and Wednesday night Children’s Programs. An usher, host, or hostess will be happy to show you to the correct locations.

What are the worship services like?

Our services are filled with vibrant worship, uplifting music, and dynamic, relevent preaching. We clap our hands, lift our hands, sing aloud, and offer heartfelt expressions of worship. Please feel at liberty to worship however you are comfortable.

We offer Spanish translation for our Spanish-speaking guests.

If you need assistance at any time during the service, please see an usher at the back of the Sanctuary or a host or hostess in the main foyer.
